Cute Pics of Brooklyn

Brooklyn, Kenzi, my mom and I went to the BYU Homecoming parade last Saturday. It was lots of fun and soooo freezing! Brooklyn loved it! She kept asking for "more" parade.

I also couldn't resist posting the picture of Brooklyn doing the dishes in the nude. It makes me laugh everytime I see it!

Pictures of Kate

Our Sweet Little Kate

I know, I know, my blogging days have been very scarce as of late. A lot has happened in the last 5 months. The most eventful thing has been the arrival of our sweet little Kate. She was born on August 7th at 12:48 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is honestly the best little girl. She hardly ever cries. She truly does have the best demeanor about her. She was born with a heart murmur, but the cardiologist said that she should probably grow out of it. Mike and I were talking the other day and we just can't even imagine our lives without Kate!

Brooklyn is such a good big sister. She kisses Kate and loves up on her all of the time. Brooklyn fills our lives with lots of laughter! She cracks me up! I love my girls.

Here are some pictures of Kate and our family. (Kate was blessed last Sunday. It was a beautiful blessing. Mike did a great job and Kate looked soooo cute!)

Our Adventurous Spring

Well, it's almost June and this is only my second blog of the year. I guess you can say "it's about time!" It has been a busy spring. In April, we went to St. George with my family. My sister, Jami, and her two kids flew in from Denver to spend the week with us. It was a blast, except for the fact that Brinley, Matt, and Brooklyn caught the stomach flu and threw up. In St. George, we celebrated my mom's birthday, went swimming, and just relaxed! Next to the condo we stayed in there was a playground and we discovered that Brooklyn loves to swing. She would just sit and swing and enjoy the outdoors.

(This is at the Pasta Factory in St. George where Mike purposed to me.)

On the 10th of May, my parents let me go with them to Washington D.C. It has always been a dream of mine to go there! Brooklyn came with me and surprisingly, she did great! We went to a lot of the monuments, visted a few museums, and went to Mt. Vernon. We also visited my mom's aunt and uncle a couple of times. The trip was amazing, but we were sure glad to get back to daddy!

Last weekend we went to Franklin, Idaho to visit Mike's Grandma. Unfortunately, Mike's grandpa passed away earlier in the month. It was nice to be up there because Brooklyn and I missed the funeral because we were in Washington D.C. It is always to peaceful to be up there! We had a fun time hanging out with Grandma Nash and Grandma McDonald.

Brooklyn

My First Blog of the New Year (Finally!)

Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Brookyn!

Brooklyn has reached a lot of milestones the last couple of months. First of all, she has her two bottom teeth! They are so cute. She is also so close to crawling. She can go from her stomach to her bottom; so, whenever we go to get her from her crib she is sitting up. Oh, and last Saturday Mike went to go and get her from her crib and she was standing up, holding on to the railing! She is growing up. Some of her latest tricks include turing off the light, saying "da, da, da, da," and playing peek-a-boo.

The Good News

We found out on December 15th that we are going to have another baby! He or she is due on August 13th. I am so excited, even though I know it will be crazy. I think Brooklyn will be a great big sister!

Winter Fun
As a family we have done some fun things the last couple of weeks. We went to the bean museum, fed the ducks, and Brooklyn went sleding for the first time with Aunt Kenzie!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas! On Christmas day we went to my parents house in the morning and then we went to Mike's parents house the rest of the day. It worked out perfectly. Brooklyn got a lot of fun toys! Mike and I gave her a jumperoo, which she absolutely loves.

Surprising, Brooklyn wasn't scared of Santa. Check out this cute video of her on Santa's lap at the Murray family Christmas party.
